EVERY STAR HAS A STORY.

A weekly 45–60-second feature about an 8U player’s football journey, effort and goals, with their own words and a highlight. Parents and authorized coaches can nominate players from any U.S. state.

What to send

1. Player’s display name, team, position, jersey number and city/state.
2. One clear highlight video, uploaded directly from your phone or laptop.
3. A short written answer to “What does football mean to you?” and a story about the player’s effort or growth.
4. An optional short player interview video. Upload it with the highlight, or include the introduction in the same video.
5. Parent/guardian authorization and permission from the footage owner.

Interview prompts

• What do you love most about football?
• What have you worked hard to improve this season?
• What makes your team special?
• Who encourages you, and what would you like to tell them?
• What is your goal for the rest of the season?

Choose two or three questions. Record vertically in a quiet place, with an adult coordinating. Let the player answer in their own words.

Before a player is featured

An adult submits the nomination. Uploaded originals and adult contact details stay private in the BTLS review inbox. BTLS verifies the details and guardian authorization before publication. Submission does not guarantee selection. Player and team participation is free.
